Dylan Xiu

My name is Dylan Xiu, and I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering Student at Michigan Technologial University with hands-on experience in automotive design,  manufacturing, and process optimization. I am seeking a full-time engineering role starting in May 2026 to further enhance my skills in design, analysis, and production engineering.

Through my involvement with Formula SAE, I've acquired practical skills in CAD, FEA, machining, welding, fabrication, and quality control, leading projects such as the design and installation of control arms for the F25 vehicle and developing the chassis for the EV team.

Additionally, I serve as President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), where I lead initiatives to promote cultural engagement and foster industry collaboration both on and off campus.
